birthday parties

i believe it only makes sense to celebrate your birthday after it happened...
that is to say, if your birthday is in 2 days, why celebrate it today? what if something happens?..."no we celebrated rob's 90th on monday, unfortunately he never actually made it to 90..."
isn't it more joyful to celebrate it after it happens, like if it were an achievement? - cuz im takin thats what the buzz is all about, right?
so in essence, it makes more sense to celebrate your birthday a month after it happened, than a week before
who actually cares about the date - "no it needs to be sunday at midnight, i dont care if people have to get up early on monday...it is of the utmost importance...if you cant make it, you're not my friend...no my bday is actually monday at 1.35pm, but i need to celebrate it now!"
i think ill celebrate mine a year after it happens - this way i can preserve my eternal youth!
ciao!

mn

sometimes when i travel it makes me feel out of place
not that i dont enjoy it, i actually like spending time with myself and stuff
but its also nice to be on the inside
maybe not too inside, here its like -20 outside right now, its crazy
but then again the cold makes me appreciate the warm

i really dont like talking about the weather
its best summed up by the Dos X beer ad:
"he never talks about the weather"
as an interesting individual, which i consider myself to be - i aspire to do the same

that said,
good night and good luck
